Great night with family. Very roomy and comfortable. The sound effects where deafening for myself and 4 year old grandson. Would have been more comfortable if sound turned down a few notches.
A fantastic little cinema, it only has one screen but manages to show nearly all the latest movies. The seats are really comfortable and the sofas are really cosy. It doesn't have a huge range of sweets and snacks put there's something for everyone's tastes and the staff are excellent, friendly and helpful.

We went last night o see Mama Mia. Film was great for two females one 13 and the other too old to mention. Cinema was lovely and clean from the entrance to the seats. Nice comfy high backed chairs with a bottle holder for the water, which in the this heat is almost an essential. We were running late and upon asking were informed we had 9 minutes to the start, just enough time for drinks! Lovely cinema, nice staff always have a smile, always a great experience
First time visiting The Light Wisbech. Very impressed. The theatre/toilets/food area was very clean. Good screen/sound system. Easy free parking. Will be going again.

Had an amazing evening in this lovely old theatre. It's a place steeped in History. I was wowed by the atmosphere of the Theatre too. Intimate it may be but it lacks nothing in providing Wisbech with an invaluable little gem. Long may it continue.
Great shows. Ratz youth version of Sister Act particularly good

What an enjoyable stay in a beautiful old building. Everywhere we looked just full of history. Imagine the time around 1461, when the Swan hotel room (earliest recorded name for this hotel) was first opened, the America wasn't even discovered then. Sitting bang right in the centre of Wisbech town.No unnecessary traffic noise or fuming pollution, just liveliness and busy atmosphere surrounding the hotel. That's the fun of being situated on the Market Place/ High street.Every member of staff was very pleasant and extremely helpful. We had a lovely meal with two of our friends. The food was of a good standard and served by polite young man. Reasonably priced rooms. Will definitively return again and look forward to staying at the hotel.
A wonderful weekend. We booked the rose and crown for a 2 night stay including breakfast on both days and a meal on our first night. On entering the hotel via the car park situated around the back, we got a lovely homely feeling, various seating, books to read, court yard which will be amazing in the summer, it was easy to find reception where we were greeted by the lovely managerial couple, we were given all the information needed, times for breakfast and dinner and where our room was situated, on the way to our room we were in ore of the historic building, our room was home away from home and a lovely shower room. Dinner was amazing and presentation on point. Breakfast was also on point, waitresses were very polite and friendly, also as the bar manager, lovely man, very conversational. All in all, we were made to feel very welcome, and nothing was too much to ask. I will definitely be back in the warmer weather. Thank you for a wonderful weekend.
